Why We Fundraise to Support Inglemoor Boys Basketball
Most school districts in Washington state have encountered serious funding issues, and one of the first areas they cut are the sports programs. In order to operate a program, the team needs funds so that it can get new equipment and uniforms, pay for tournament fees, ensure the coaches are compensated for their time and contribute to gym and game fees.
To support our efforts, we operate a number of different fundraisers over the year. Below are the list of fundraisers, and details on how you can support if you are interested in donating to the program and ensuring our kids have the best opportunity to succeed and enjoy the sport they love.
ASB Fundraiser
We are able to collect money via the school’s ASB organization that goes straight into the boys basketball program. These dollars are then immediately available for the coaching staff to use to pay for necessary items and events throughout the year.
Direct (online)
We also have created a 501(c)(3) organization so that people are able to make tax deductible donations directly to the booster club. All of our direct fundraising events are collected through this org via the following methods.

Corporate Match
Since we are a 501(c)(3) organization (EIN: 83-286-3561), we are able to support corporate matching for both dollars and hours. We are currently registered in the following corporate match systems:

If your company offers corporate matching, and it isn’t managed through one of those platforms, please contact us so we can register with that system.
And don’t forget that some big companies in the area (e.g. - Microsoft) will also offer corporate matching for donated hours.
Trivia Night 2024
This was our first annual Trivia Night and it was a huge success. We partnered up with the girls team, and in our first year, with a goal of generating $3,000 per team, we were able to raise almost $9,000 per team (3x our goal). Thanks to everyone for their generosity and see you next year!
Car Wash 2024
We ran a car wash last summer that raised $1500-$2500 for the program. There aren’t details yet on the 2025 car wash, and we will post more information in the Spring when we nail down plans for the summer.
Concessions + Logo Items
The booster club operates the concession stand for most of the boys basketball games from C team through Varsity, and 100% of the profits go to the program. Additionally, we offer Viking stickers, Basketball programs and Logo Seat Cushions which also contribute to those funds. Please visit us during the season in the concession stand, or contact the board if you are interested in purchasing any of those items.
